History and Founding of NIAEF

NIAEF is a 501(c) 3 charitable organization chartered in the State of Florida on May 17th, 1996. It is a foundation created to improve the educational life of Native American students who will eventually use their education to solve problems that numerous indigenous tribes of the United States already face.  

The Founder and President is Wathla Estofis Recvlohe.  He was born into the Yuchi Indian tribe and is also an enrolled member of the Creek Nation of Oklahoma.  Mr. Recvlohe saw an important need for the NIAEF organization in education.   See the letter from Mr. Recvlohe to the Board of Directors with his vision and intent for NIAEF, Inc.
